Shop Smart Magazine has this great article on how to be cost savvy when it comes to buying beauty products and where to go to get the best deal. The stores mentioned were Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, T.J. Maxx and Costco just to name a few. I agree with the article and I myself have shopped for makeup in just about all the stores mentioned to find the best deal. The best way to shop for beauty products is to buy in bulk and Costco is just the place to go if you want the best deal in bulk. Wal-marts and Targets are great if you need something right away, they're prices aren't expensive and the brands are just like those you'd find if you were shopping in a mall, sometimes better. I have never shopped in a T.J Maxx store before so I can't really say how affordable the beauty products are. There are so many beauty brands out there today that it really is a difficult choice where to shop and what to buy, it's all about ones preference and cost affordability. Every year, the African Student Organization (ASO) of the University of Pittsburgh hosts a cultural extravaganza. The show is entitled WAZOBIA: Beyond the Surface. It is a celebration of the extensive variety of African culture ranging from language, dance, attire, poetry, and comedy to cuisine. The show will be including fashion designers from all over the globe. Specifically from Canada, Egypt, Nigeria, & of course here in the states. We will even be featuring the Mapapa African Acrobats from Kenya. The event it meant to inform Pitt & the greater Pittsburgh community about African culture while simultaneously raising money for our annual African culture ranging from language, dance, attire, poetry, and comedy to cuisine. The show will be including fashion designers from all over the globe. Specifically from Canada, Egypt, Nigeria, & of course here in the states. We will even be featuring the Mapapa African Acrobats from Kenya. The event it meant to inform Pitt & the greater Pittsburgh community about African culture while simultaneously raising money for our annual philanthropic cause. This year we are raising money to help mediate malaria in Malawi. These days malaria is such an easy disease to cure but many people in Africa suffer from it because they do not have access to basic necessities such as nets, durable shoes or medicine.
